Mr. Lavigne practices primarily in the fields of governmental liability and public entity defense, products liability, professional liability, construction litigation, employment, business litigation, insurance bad faith, and FDCPA defense. Mr. Lavigne has represented public entities in a variety of matters, including disputes involving insurance coverage. He has represented numerous property owners and homeowners associations in complex construction litigation.

Before attending law school, Mr. Lavigne worked as a general securities registered representative and as a legal assistant in the    New York and Los Angeles offices of a major multinational law firm. During law school, Mr. Lavigne was a judicial extern to the Honorable Richard C. Neal (now ret.) at the Second District Court of Appeal in Los Angeles.
