Ms. Nefulda practices primarily in the fields of torts and personal injury, governmental liability and public entity defense, premises liability, products liability, professional liability, construction litigation, employment, FDCPA defense, environmental and toxic torts. Ms. Nefulda has represented public entities in premises liability matters as well as torts and personal injury cases. She has represented general contractors, subcontractors and property owners in construction litigation, including issues involving subrogation and indemnification.

Matters she has defended include a personal injury case involving an adult student who tripped over a nail protruding from the baseboard in a doorway at a school in which the school district's motion for summary judgment was successful and the entity is pursuing costs against plaintiff, as well as a claim by a student that a teacher assaulted and battered him in the classroom. In that matter, discovery developed that plaintiff actually slammed his own face into his desk, causing his nose to bleed. That case settled for a minimal amount.
