Our practice emphasizes civil litigation before all state and federal courts. Much of our work involves defense of the integrity of products or persons and many of our cases are litigated through trial.Carlson & Messer LLP's practice is primarily a jury trial practice, with a substantial emphasis in the defense of serious injury and/or high exposure emotionally-laden cases in the personal injury, products liability and casualty areas, both historically and presently. We have experienced trial lawyers and our attorneys have successfully defended major protracted jury trials in many parts of the country, including successes in Idaho, Utah, Washington, Texas, Palo Alto, and Los Angeles.

While clients continue to experience tremendous economic pressure in an ever-increasing competitive economy, the costs of litigating cases is a factor which needs to be controlled in an effective manner. The recognized need of cost-containment requires trial counsel to find creative ways to reduce the costs of discovery, trial preparation and trial.
